First editorial experience ...!

Earlier this week, I was offered the chance of being Assistant Stylist on a Beauty Editorial with
Photographer Kayti Peschke, Stylist Chloe Bibby, Makeup Artist Cassie Steward, Assistant Make-up Artist Natalie Posteraro and model Jodie Giles. I've loved Kayti's work for a long time, so getting to work with her was a big thing!

The main look for the shoots was 40's, with marcel waves and big red lips ! The clothes that Chloe had managed to get were amazing, in particular a one shoulder navy blue Karen Millen dress. As it was a beauty shoot, we only need to concentrate on waist up, which meant Chloe had to ensure the top half of the dresses were interesting.

Because of how time consuming marcel curls are, it meant the model was in hair & makeup for 4 hours. In this time, Chloe and I steamed the clothes and put the outfits together, working out which jewellery would work best with certain outfits and looking at ideas for our next shoot, a beach shoot with Kayti !

Once hair and makeup had been completed, the shoot commenced. The look started intricate with neat hair and makeup and moved throughout the 8 looks, ending with an unintentional 80's inspired look with amazing Dior lipstick Fantastic Plum, a must for every young fashionista !
